As usual, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is thinking big for Christmas! For its 21st edition, the Grand Noël returns from November 14 to January 3 with 5 kilometers of garlands, an ice rink spanning over 400 m², and projections that will illuminate the building’s beautiful façade. And as a special treat this year, the estate in Seine-et-Marne promises its visitors a journey to the four corners of the globe.
The Grand Noël de Vaux-le-Vicomte Makes Its Grand Return
For this year’s event, the themed route will “travel through” several countries. From Kenya to Japan, via Venice and Brazil, the castle’s salons will be transformed to showcase various regions of the world. Surrounding a small “traveling” Christmas tree, automatons, decorations, and light installations will make the estate feel magical. In the heart of the Grand Salon, visitors will find an 8-meter-tall Japanese Christmas tree, while a two-meter-tall Eiffel Tower made entirely of chocolate will be on display in the kitchens!

But the festivities will also continue outdoors: in the gardens designed by Le Notre, a 420-square-meter ice rink will be set up in front of the illuminated château. As soon as night falls, the show *Vaux-le-Vicomte: A Stopover in the Land of Dreams*—an approximately 8-minute projection—will be staged to prolong the magic. And for families, a treasure hunt in the gardens will also be organized!
As for prices, tickets for this new edition start at €25.90 for adults and €20.90 for children. The château is also offering a special promotion on November 14, 15, 21, and 22: buy two adult tickets online and get one child’s ticket free.
From Paris, the estate even offers a round-trip shuttle departing from the Bercy neighborhood, near the Cour Saint-Émilion metro station, with a departure at 2 p.m. and a return at 7 p.m. on regular days. It’s up to you!
