On Saturday, September 13, 2025, St. Peter’s Square will play host to “Grace for the World“, a groundbreaking concert bringing together international voices, diverse cultures and different generations through music.
The show is free to attend in person, and will be broadcast live worldwide on Disney+, Hulu and ABC News Live. Given the importance of the event, the official song list remains a secret. But on closer inspection, a few clues emerge about the likely program: artists who have collaborated before, recent titles and must-haves.
Grace for the World: a soundtrack for unity
Pharrell Williams and Andrea Bocelli will co-direct and executive produce the concert, with the renowned Adam Blackstone on musical direction. Bocelli is no stranger to spiritual recitals: he sang twice for Pope Francis in 2015, as well as for the new Pope Leo XIV this summer. Pharrell, meanwhile, bridges several musical worlds, bringing pop, gospel and his production flair to the Vatican stage. This duo aims to reach a wide audience and carry a message of love, brotherhood and unity.
An international line-up: from Karol G to John Legend, Bocelli and more
Colombian superstar Karol G is set to move audiences with “Milagros”, a hymn to hope and resilience. Another possible performance: his duet on “Vivo por Ella” with Maestro Andrea Bocelli, from his anniversary album Duets. The Italian tenor could also perform “The Prayer” with Jennifer Hudson, another gospel and R&B icon already heard during the papal visit to the United States.
American artists are not to be outdone. John Legend will be bringing along hit songs such as “All of Me” and “Church”, hymns to love and humanity, while Pharrell and Voices of Fire will be thrilling the crowd with “JOY (Unspeakable)” and “Miracle Worker ” (their new album has just been released).. Teddy Swims may also revisit his hit “Lose Control”.
On the KPop side, BamBam will add her touch to the evening, with ” Last Parade ” and ” riBBon ” on the program. The Franco-Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo could also set the stage alight with “Agolo” or “We Are One“, tracks that combine African rhythms with messages of unity and justice.
