In the heart of Paris, a new address is set to attract the attention of lovers of Japanese-inspired design and minimalism. Muji, a Japanese brand that has been well established in Paris since the 1990s, has confirmed the opening of a huge flagship store at 126 Rue de Rivoli, replacing C&A, at the end of 2026.
A new giant Muji store in Paris
This new store, which will be part of the urban project known as BPM, will cover nearly 2,700 square meters over three floors. This XXL format will make it the largest Muji store in Europe, and the location is no coincidence: Rue de Rivoli, a historic and essential commercial artery, is visited by millions of people every year. The building that houses it has undergone extensive renovation since the previous tenant left, with a project combining shops, hotels, offices, and public spaces.
Beyond its size, this flagship store is a strategic step for Muji: it will enable the brand to showcase a much wider range of products, similar to that available in Japan, with around 85% of the range accessible to visitors. This includes clothing, home accessories, stationery, and storage solutions, as well as skincare, decor, and everyday items that embody the essence of the brand’s concept.
The future store is set to open in fall 2026, marking a new era for Muji in Paris!
📍Location: Muji – 126, rue de Rivoli, 75001
📆 Date: opening in November 2026
