You know it without knowing it. This magnificent three-hectare park nestled in the heart of the 7th arrondissement is none other than the garden of the Rodin Museum. It is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful green spaces attached to a museum! And when the warm weather lingers, it’s the perfect place to enjoy the sun in the shade of its trees. Between the artist’s many sculptures and the flowers that color the grounds all year round, you’ll feel completely transported!
A huge garden with a view of the dome of Les Invalides

In this haven of peace in the heart of the capital, it’s good manners to take your time. Here, you can admire around forty sculptures designed by Auguste Rodin, including one of his most famous: The Thinker. Asyou stroll through its bucolic paths, you can’t miss the beautiful rose garden surrounding the Hôtel Biron. The latter houses the permanent collections, such as sculptures, but also drawings and photographs by the artist.

At first glance, it may seem strange to admire so many sculptures in a garden. However, the artist himself used to do so in order to show his latest creations to the general public. Take the time to stroll among the flower-filled paths, which are in bloom all year round, and admire the beauty of the surroundings. During your walk, you will see the sparkling dome of Les Invalides and even a small part of the Eiffel Tower. A secret viewpoint that will take your breath away.

Every summer, the public is allowed to picnic on the lawns during evening openings on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays during the day. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the relaxing setting and the coolness of the large pond in the shade of the trees. You can visit the garden for €6 per person, Tuesday through Sunday, and it’s free for those under 26… Please note that it is closed every Monday.
Also, don’t miss Aura, the ultra-immersive sound and light show located at the Hôtel des Invalides, just a stone’s throw away. An absolutely sublime show not to be missed on Valentine’s Day.
