This competition is organized by Maison Kayser in partnership with Comptoir National de l’Or, a major player in the world of precious metals. To mark the 30th anniversary of Maison Kayser, the organizers wanted to make this an exceptional operation throughout Paris and other major French cities.
The principle is simple: when you buy a galette in one of the participating Maison Kayser bakeries, you’ll receive a bag containing a QR code. All you have to do is scan the code and fill in an online form to be entered in the draw. The prize is a 250-gram gold ingot, estimated to be worth around €31,500! It’s a great way to start the new year, and a real treat!
The list of Maison Kayser bakeries involved includes dozens of addresses in Paris and throughout France. In Paris itself, many outlets are included in the scheme, from Assas to Batignolles, from Montparnasse to Bourse or Vendôme, via Clichy, Bercy or Odéon. In addition to Kayser, independent bakeries in cities such as Dijon, Strasbourg, Arras and Beauvais are also taking part in the competition, with their own ingots to be won.
