The heat wave is in full swing, and unfortunately for us, it’s sweltering. So we’re trying to cope as best we can by seeking refuge in parks, swimming pools, and beaches near Paris. The La Baleine aquatic center, located in Saint-Denis, has pulled out all the stops: it’s opening its pools for free to all residents of Plaine Commune, starting today and until further notice. While for residents of Plaine Commune, this pool is completely free during a yellow heat wave alert regardless of age (upon presentation of proof of residence), for others, admission costs 4.60 euros per adult, 3.60 euros for youth aged 11 to 24, and 1.70 euros for children under 6…
