Not sure what to do this Sunday? We’ve decided to take you to a charming little town about an hour from Paris: Nemours. This medieval village, surrounded by the Loing River, invites you to celebrate summer at the 13th edition of its festival: “Pays de Nemours au fil du Loing.” All day long, a program that’s as rich as it is fun awaits you! It’s the perfect way to enjoy a lovely summer day with your loved ones!
A free summer festival near Paris, on the banks of the Loing
This Sunday, get ready for an unforgettable day. The magnificent village of Nemours, nestled right on the banks of the Loing, invites you to an idyllic summer festival. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the castle lawns and right by the riverbanks, a variety of activities will be available. For example, you can go swimming in a supervised area, try canoeing with your family, take a ride on an electric boat that doesn’t require a license… in short, there’s no shortage of river-themed activities! Two giant bubble shows will also be presented free of charge throughout the day.

You can also take part in a painting workshop, explore an exhibition dedicated to water or vintage postcards from the Pays de Nemours, or sign up for two completely zany contests : a flip-flop toss and pedal boat races—with prizes for the winners, of course. Finally, food trucks will be on site to serve you all day long! See you this Sunday so you don’t miss a thing!
