Takashi Murakami invites himself once again to Paris for a free exhibition
Just five years ago, Takashi Murakami unveiled some of his work at Galerie Perrotin Matignon. Today, at the same venue, the Japanese artist returns with recent works, and you are invited to discover his colorful characters in the heart of Paris. From emblematic figures to newcomers, you can immerse yourself in the singular art of the Japanese artist and his creations.
Colorful, smiling flowers, self-portraits, pandas, Miss Good Things and Mr. Bad Things– anyone with a passing acquaintance with the artist is bound to recognize these distinctive works. Very popular, these genuine mascots exude a form of communicative joy and contribute to their creator’s fame. And for this exhibition, a veritable “best of” will be orchestrated, shedding light on the entire body of work by the Japanese artist.
Mark your calendars, the exhibition opens on October 15!
