A free floating lantern festival
This Sunday, come and take part in one of Thailand’s most important festivals in the Paris region: Loy Krathong. A festival that pays tribute to nature and the elements, especially water, the very symbol of life and renewal. In this idyllic green setting, imbued with tranquility and spirituality, you’ll discover the Wat Pho pagoda. If you’re familiar with Asia, the name may ring a bell , as there’s a similar temple of the same name in Bangkok. Its pleasant park, surrounded by torii and exotic plants, will plunge you into a zen atmosphere, far from any tension.
During this festival, everyone can place a lantern on the water, beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. As a strong symbol sent to the universe (and to ourselves), the candles surrounded by water will “erase” all the negative emotions accumulated over the year.
