The Ile-de-France region abounds in nuggets and nature walks. And did you know that the region is home to France’s largest plant maze? An immense 6,000 m2 maze of vegetation – no less – where the whole family can enjoy wandering (and getting lost). So, will you be able to find your way out?
A maze like in Alice in Wonderland
It doesn’t look like a cat, yet this immense labyrinth is reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. The most adventurous will find this labyrinth in Thoiry, in the Yvelines region of France. And it’ s the biggest plant maze in France, with a 15,000 m course of yew hedges covering an area of 6,000 m2. Patience is required to find your way out. The idea? Solve riddles along the green-lined paths to find your way out of the labyrinth. An unusual challenge for the whole family, just 40 minutes from Paris by car.
