As it does every year, the magnificent Île des Impressionnistes, located in Chatou, hosts its incredible fair. This open-air treasure hunter’s paradise is quite simply one of the largest flea markets in Île-de-France. There you’ll discover vintage furniture from the 1950s, perfectly preserved antiques, paintings, vintage toys, jewelry… In short, it’s impossible to leave empty-handed!
The Chatou Fair: The Largest Flea Market in Île-de-France
Every year, the Chatou Fair is one of the favorite events for bargain hunters and lovers of beautiful things. Set on the Île des Impressionnistes, where Auguste Renoir and so many others fell in love with the setting and painted there, you might just find your new treasure! Whether it’s a piece of furniture from the 1930s, a vintage coat, lighting fixtures, secondhand books, beautiful antique mirrors, or accessories from another era, you’re never far from finding that special something.
Renowned for its carefully curated, high-quality selection, the Chatou Fair offers a wide range of prices… from a few euros to over a hundred euros, depending on the item’s rarity and condition. Open through October 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., there is an admission fee: 10 euros per adult.
After your shopping, we highly recommend taking a stroll along the Seine to discover the scenery that so inspired the artists… And of course, enjoy lunch on the terrace at one of Paris’s oldest open-air cafés.
