Forget Guerissol or Kilo Shop, Paris’ most unusual thrift store is right in the heart of the 9th arrondissement. In the heart of the rue Condorcet, La Loge Store offers a selection of items from films and TV series, virtually brand new and at low prices. What better way to revamp your wardrobe and play movie star at the same time?
A specialized 7th art thrift store lurks at the foot of the Butte Montmartre
Inspired by movie dressing rooms, La Loge Store has set up shop at the foot of the Butte Montmartre, offering a crazy selection of clothing from film shoots. Recovered directly from audiovisual productions, these items are virtually brand-new (or at least worn in films, series or commercials). So you’ll find little nuggets from collections ranging from beautiful dresses to accessories. What’s more, each item has a label telling us a little more about its provenance.

In this way, a second life is offered to these pieces, most of which were destined to remain at the back of a studio closet. What’s more, La Loge Store remains an accessible thrift shop where you can find rare items without spending a fortune. Here, the passion for the 7th art can be felt as soon as you walk through the doors. In keeping with the eco-responsible approach, the décor is also “recycled”, with seats from the Élysées Lincoln cinema, dressing room mirrors and even a red carpet.
Behind this concept is Mélody, aka Mélococo. The costume designer and stylist has chosen to combine her passions in an unusual venue that has quickly won over its clientele.
