It’s one of the biggest international esports competitions and one of the most anticipated events of the summer:the Esports World Cup is coming to Paris, at the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles. From July 6 to August 23, the world’s best players will face off in an immersive experience that goes far beyond the realm of gaming. To kick off this third edition, a one-of-a-kind opening ceremony is being prepared for July 8 at La Seine Musicale, featuring a spectacular show and performances by three superstars. An XXL Opening Ceremony
Conceived as a vibrant tribute to the capital, the July 8 opening ceremony is already shaping up to be memorable. Headlining the event are Aya Nakamura, the most-streamed Francophone artist internationally; DJ Snake, known for his massive electronic music shows; and “Boss Lady” Theodora, an icon of the new generation. Together, they’ll set the Seine Musicale ablaze and officially kick off the2026 Esports World Cup in front of an electrified audience of players and fans from all over the world. Designed as a spectacle rather than a traditional concert, it has plenty of surprises in store for you.

But the show is just getting started. Through August 23, more than 2,000 professional players representing the world’s esports elite will compete across 24 major titles in an electric atmosphere. On the agenda: an exhilarating immersion into legendary gaming tournaments like EA Sports FC, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, and Fortnite.
