More than a year ago, this photographer founded Maison Astra— a studio where every woman can become a fantastical creature and, above all, reconnect with her self-image and femininity. Who said it’s too late to dream? At Maison Astra, it’s your wildest dreams that come to life during a two-hour photo shoot. The “stars” (the affectionate nickname Lucie gives her models) can become anything they’ve never dared to be: a goddess, a mermaid, a fairy, a nymph, a phoenix… Each theme, conceived as a true work of art, immerses you in a fantastical tale where you are the heroine. For two hours, Lucie and her fairies take care of the model, doing her makeup and hair, and guiding her step by step through the session with great kindness. It’s a private sanctuary that her “stars” treat themselves to—a space to explore their femininity, come to terms with their self-image, and let their dreams take flight.
Don’t worry—you don’t have to be a pro to have your portrait taken! Lucie assures us that every future star is selected with care and, above all, with heart to create her own masterpiece. Once selected, Lucie and her fairies take the time to guide the future muse, to understand her desires and needs, to make this photo shoot an unforgettable moment.
Thanks to her artistic eye, her poetry, and her gentleness, hundreds of women—all with different backgrounds—have posed for her camera.
