This weekend at Parc Astérix, we were lucky enough to attend a preview of “Asterix and the Star Potion,” the brand-new nighttime show at the famous amusement park. To see it for yourself, you’ll have to wait until July 11, which still gives you time to book your tickets. Asterix and the Star Potion: a breathtaking new XXL nighttime show

This summer, Parc Astérix has plenty of surprises in store for its visitors. Starting July 11, every night at 10 p.m., “Asterix and the Star Potion” will bring a touch of magic to the night sky, right above the lake. As night falls, the sky transforms into a massive living stage thanks to this XXL show, which features cutting-edge technology and is perfectly orchestrated.
Imagine Asterix, Obelix, Idefix, Abraracourcix, Falbala, and even Panoramix coming to life in an impressive aerial ballet. The visual narrative blends humor, adventure, and poetry in a breathtaking show, faithful to the world of Goscinny and Uderzo, and transforms the sky into a gigantic, luminous comic strip.
“A comic book come to life in the starry sky” with 370 drones and 2,500 pyrotechnic effects
Beyond its immersive nature, the show is a true technological feat. On the program: 370 drones, multicolored lasers, 60 water jets reaching up to 20 meters in height, a giant water screen, and more than 150 projectors. To amaze visitors, the show also features 2,500 breathtaking pyrotechnic effects.
An all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant, the new Cleopatra show, and completely redesigned attractions…

And to round out this Gallic summer, Parc Astérix is also unveiling several other new attractions. The Egypt zone, in particular, has just been revamped with a brand-new all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant that’s as gargantuan as it is immersive. Called “Les Comptoirs d’Épidemaïs, ” this one-of-a-kind venue immerses visitors in a setting inspired by ancient Egypt and offers a varied menu of Middle Eastern flavors. Hummus, a couscous bar, chicken tagine, sweet treats , and traditional mint tea: a true journey for the senses awaits you.
A Gallic summer full of new attractions at Parc Astérix

Among this summer’s other new attractions, don’t miss “La Descente du Nil,” which replaces the former “Oxygénarium” and takes adventurers on a refreshing journey down the legendary river. After this aquatic adventure, head to “L’Envol d’Ibis,” the next-generation flying chair ride. At a height of 10 meters, visitors of all ages can enjoy a pleasant, refreshing sensation while admiring a panoramic view of the Egypt area.
Finally, the new show “Cleopatra’s Offerings” is sure to delight the whole family. This new version is presented on the Esplanade d’Oziris, on a stage that has been completely redesigned for the occasion.
