7 themed zones based on Disney’s greatest classics, a huge slide inspired by Toy Story, an aquatic area dedicated to the World of Nemo and even a roller coaster on deck… The new Disney cruise ship has just been unveiled, and it’s nothing short of monumental!
A titanic Disney cruise ship, with exceptional features
342 meters long, 46 meters wide… the measurements of Disney’s new cruise ship are quite unusual. The name of this XXL cruise ship: Disney Adventure! And it’s not just any cruise ship. Disney Cruise Line has signed up the biggest ship in its fleet. With a capacity of 6,700 passengers and a future crew of some 2,500, these are impressive figures. All in all, this dreamy cruise ship will unveil 7 themed areas entirely dedicated to the Disney, Pixar and Marvel universes. On the pontoon, a huge slide inspired by Toy Story will delight the little ones. And who knows, maybe the liner’s extraordinary aquatic area around the world of Nemo will rival the best indoor water park in the world?
Aboard Disney Adventure, the world’s largest sea roller coaster!
Disney has also pulled out all the stops when it comes to entertainment. Aboard this immense liner, cruisers can marvel at colorful shows, stroll around several pools or watch previews of Disney films. Like the Disneyland Paris parks, they can also meet Disney characters and princesses. In terms of services, passengers will be able to enjoy a range of ultra-immersive catering options, a spa, and they can even have their toddlers looked after in a crèche. The highlight of the show: a Spider Man-inspired merry-go-round installed on the deck of the cruise ship. This breathtaking attraction will be the world’s largest roller coaster at sea, no less!
But when exactly will the Disney Adventure cruise set sail for the first time? Its first river adventure will depart from Singapore on December 15, 2025. What’s more, the Disney Adventure will be succeeded by another cruise ship – the Disney Destiny – this November. Disney Cruise Line will also unveil 4 more cruise ships in 2027. Yes, the Disney magic continues even at sea, to the delight of cruise passengers.
