From December 12, the Gaîté Lyrique, one of Paris’s most emblematic cultural centers, will be the stage for a new immersive exhibition featuring installations, each more hypnotic than the last, that transcend the limits of technology. 18 light and sound installations, a monumental immersive installation, 4 interactive video games, a soundtrack spanning the entire history of electronic music, an arcade, a bar area… Get ready to enter a new dimension! Tickets are now on sale!
PULSE set to rock the Gaîté Lyrique
Using cutting-edge tools (robotics, lasers, led mapping, code art, etc.) to explore space through the prism of geometry, sound and light, visitors are transported into an unprecedented universe blending art, architecture and technology. Conceived by studio 1024 architecture (notably responsible for Vortex, the incredible architectural and light sculpture that bridges the gap between the two buildings of Darwin Écosystème in Bordeaux), a master in the art of sculpting light and illuminating the invisible, this exhibition creates a new space of light and sound, and a new language through dialogue between a series of audiovisual and physical works.
A mechanical animal made of LEDs imitating a centipede, a metal cube that dances, a DNA branch activated by kinetic movement, an installation imagined exclusively for the exhibition representing a visual and sound wave in constant motion, a puppet that becomes a music synthesizer playing a Vitalic track, an interactive game at the crossroads between digital art and architecture…
Explore, play, vibrate, dance!
More than just an exhibition, PULSE is a true sensory experience. At the heart of a dynamic cultural venue that hijacks the codes of club culture, visitors are invited to explore, get drunk over a drink, dance to CORE, an installation featuring an almost 6-hour soundtrack imagined by Laurent Garnier, and play arcade games… The ephemeral exhibition runs until July 13, and promises to be one of the key cultural events of the year!
