In Paris, certain installations transcend the concept of an exhibition. This is the case with this one, created by Culturespaces, which redefines the way we experience (and see) music. With“Coldplay: A Film for the Future,”the former foundry in the 11th arrondissement—now a leading museum space for immersive exhibitions —offers a fresh take on the band by giving it a universal dimension. Spoiler: you won’t just be listening to Coldplay; you’ll literally step into their world. See you on June 5!

A collective work essential in the age of individualism
Here, there is no stage, no seats, but a raw space transformed into a visual arch. Thanks to a monumental projection system, every wall, every corner of the Atelier des Lumières comes to life to the rhythm of the images that adorn the new album Moon Music. The result: a 360° immersion where sound and image merge to create an experience as hypnotic as it is collective.

150 artists, 45 countries: a global work
What makes this experience truly unique? Its collaborative nature. No fewer than 150 international artists, from 45 countries, each created their own visual interpretation of the songs. With no imposed brief, each creation is a surprise, a mosaic of worlds that respond to and complement one another. We move from a cosmic trip to an explosion of colors, from minimalist poetry to ultra-dynamic sequences. A diversity that makes up the richness of A Film for the Future.

A Coldplay musical experience to be shared together
Here, music isn’t listened to in silence. The lyrics are displayed directly on the walls, all around you. As you wander freely in a relaxed atmosphere, you’re invited to sing along. The atmosphere quickly becomes electric, somewhere between a group listening session and an art installation.
For about 45 minutes, you’ll be swept away by a continuous flow of images and sounds. And to complete the experience, drinks (beer and soft drinks) are available on site.
Unifying, visual, musical, and collective, this experience successfully pushes the boundaries between concert and contemporary art, perfectly in line with Coldplay’s DNA.
