1. The Planetarium
Take a seat under the grand dome of the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie’s Planetarium and embark on a true cosmic journey. Beneath the starry vault, enjoy an image of breathtaking depth, as if you were immersed in space. Dreamers of all ages can extend the experience with the various films on the program, such as“Destination Black Hole,” a thrilling interstellar film, or the poetic“Planets in Sight,” based on a children’s book. 2. The Children’s City (ages 5–10)
This is THE ultimate kid-friendly spot: the Children’s City for ages 5–10 has finally reopened its doors and unveils an immersive world redesigned to delight the youngest visitors. Between water games, fun activities (like the Funfair or the Bizarre House), stunning decor , and hands-on science experiments, kids will feel like mini-explorers… and so will you! Because parents, uncles, and doting aunts can all get involved: a real moment of bonding awaits.
3. Permanent Exhibitions
At the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, there’s no shortage of exhibitions: so we’ve selected our two favorites for you to discover this summer. If you dream of following in the footsteps of Thomas Pesquet, head to“Space Mission.” Through an exhibition that’s as realistic as it is fun, featuring simulators and life-size models, discover the daily life of an astronaut. 5. The Argonaut
A submarine right in the heart of Paris? That’s right: come aboard fora fascinating exploration of this authentic 1950s hunter-killer submarine, docked at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industriesince 1989. Discover the daily life of a crew of 40 submariners, as well as anecdotes straight out of a spy novel, since the Argonaute was once a base for intelligence and special operations!
