You dreamed it, the Majestic Bastille cinema did it! Once a month, this Paris cinema opens its doors to dogs and their owners, but also to animal lovers. On the program: themed films, treats and adorable neighbors! We tell you all about this unusual cinematic experience, which you should try out without delay.
Our test of a doggo-friendly screening
Last January, our videographer Jane tried out the experience in the company of her Australian shepherd, Bowie. Surrounded by dozens of pooches, our favorite duo rewatched a Disney classic: Beauty and the Tramp. A must-see! Although he prefers action movies, Bowie nonetheless loved the screening… and especially the treats on offer! This dog-friendly event is organized in partnership with the Bone Appart, Paris’ first dog-friendly café. At each screening, the Bone Appart offers a stand of treats prepared by Compagnon Paris. A real treat for your pooch if you choose to come along.
Tailor-made programming
Would you like to try it too? The next screening is on Saturday, February 15, with Brian Levant’s Beethoven. While all dog tickets have already been taken, there are still a few human tickets to be reserved on the Dulac Cinémas website or directly on site. The next session is already scheduled for March 15, with Alain Chabat’s film Didier. With or without a dog, go for this unique screening!
