As you know, the Pope will be in Paris on September 25 and 26… This is an opportunity for thousands of believers to gather, receive Communion, and, of course, see the Pope with their own eyes. And to mark the occasion, all the churches in France will ring their bells at the same time this Friday, at exactly 10 a.m.!
All church bells across France will ring this Friday
For 7 minutes, every church in France will ring in unison this Friday, September 25. The hour will strike around 10 a.m., and it is precisely at that very moment that the bells will ring for several long minutes. A historic moment that is sure to be memorable.
Then at 5 p.m., the churches of Paris will ring out once again. Upon his arrival, the Pope will tour part of Paris in his popemobile between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., before heading to Notre-Dame de Paris for Vespers. You’ll be able to see him up close along a 2.5-kilometer stretch at that time, as well as the following day, when a massive Mass will be held on the Champs-Élysées.
