Although Céline Dion is no stranger to Parisian luxury hotels—as seen during her Paris concerts—the singer was once the proud owner of a truly exceptional property in Paris. In 2008, she and her late husband purchased a 632-square-meter property in Paris, right in the heart of the famous Villa Montmorency.
Five levels, a swimming pool, and even a movie theater: few properties of this kind come on the market each year in Paris. Yet in 2023, this residence reappeared on the market with an asking price of 14.9 million euros. A true celebrity residence, the property featured fifteen rooms, including five suites, all equipped with bathrooms.
An indoor pool, five suites, and a six-meter-high library
Among the most impressive rooms is an incredible six-meter-high library with a wooden staircase. The house also features an indoor pool, a spa, a gym, a private movie theater, and even a darkroom. Outside, a garden spanning nearly 500 m² and a terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower round out the property.

In the heart of Villa Montmorency, Céline Dion may have had neighbors such as Johnny Hallyday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Mylène Farmer—all of whom have lived in this most private and exclusive of Parisian neighborhoods. Nestled between the Porte d’Auteuil and the Bois de Boulogne, this neighborhood is highly sought after by public figures, particularly for its discretion and security.
After the death of her husband, René Angelil, in 2016, Céline Dion began selling off several of her properties around the world. Thus, the residence with its cut-stone facade was put up for sale in 2017, with an asking price of 9 million euros. Six years later, the same property reappeared on the market at a price of 14.9 million before disappearing again.
While it is known that the singer did indeed part with the property, no information has been leaked regarding the date or the amount of the sale.
