Trains Canceled Due to the Heat Wave
This is yet another headache for all travelers… Starting today and through Monday, June 22, inclusive, 71 Intercités trains running during the hottest hours of the day will be canceled.
The goal? To minimize air-conditioning failures as much as possible and ensure the comfort of all passengers. Indeed, these aging trains—some dating back to 1975—have outdated air-conditioning systems that cannot withstand extreme heat.
When temperatures rise, the cooling system can sometimes malfunction or even shut down completely… If you’re affected by this cancellation, you can exchange your ticket or request a refund at no charge.
