The news has spread: for fans of delicate pastries and specialty coffees! Café Kitsuné has opened a 5ᵉ Parisian café a stone’s throw from the Opéra Garnier, in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement. 10 years after opening their first coffee shops in Paris and then on either side of the Pacific in Tokyo, the brand now boasts 35 Café Kitsuné locations around the world.
The exclusive Café Kitsuné Opéra menu
Tailor-made for this new address, the menu is exclusive and offers a unique experience. Of course, you’ll find the house’s must-have beverages like matcha latte (Café Kitsuné has been a matcha pioneer in Paris since 2014), as well as a selection of classics like latte, espresso and Yuzu Honey, accompanied by pastries like the famous fox-shaped shortbread, cookies and matcha cakes.
To mark the opening, Café Kitsuné is revamping its drinks menu, adding a selection of emblematic French pastry desserts to its traditional offering. The Paris-Brest, the Opéra (which needed one), the tarte Tatin and the mango-matcha entremet are now available in drink versions.
On the savoury side, Café Kitsuné Opéra offers a varied selection of sando, those ultra-mellow Japanese sandwiches made with sandwich bread. On the menu: tamago, chicken katsu, salmon or panko shrimp.
All to be enjoyed in a cosy, bright setting, surrounded by a bespoke, hand-painted fresco by Jean-Michel Texier, which adorns the café’s mirrors .
