With the heat wave continuing to batter the capital, we all deserve a little ice cream, don’t we? So after trying out tons of places, we invite you to one of the city’s brand-new Italian ice cream shops: LaCrèma. An ice cream shop that, in just one month, has been swamped with customers every time it opens—that’s how delicious its ice cream creations are. The reason? Here, everything is homemade, crafted the traditional way, and… without cow’s milk! And we promise you, you’ll be blown away by their incredibly creamy texture…
LaCrèma: the vegan ice cream shop everyone’s talking about in Paris
Just a month and a half ago, Roberta made her dream come true: to open an Italian-style gelateria, but with an eco-friendly approach. Her vegan ice creams are homemade using high-quality ingredients, churned fresh every morning, and kept chilled at -18°C until the first customers arrive… Roberta assures us: it’s the daily churning that gives her ice creams that perfect texture—neither too soft nor too firm.
When it comes to flavor, once again, nothing is left to chance! Instead of traditional cow’s milk, homemade plant-based milks are added to every batch. For her pistachio ice cream, for example, Roberta uses her own fresh pistachio milk; for her vanilla ice cream, it’s cashew milk… And the flavor is spot-on! The flavors are rich, authentic, and are sure to surprise you with every bite. Most ingredients come from France—such as the hazelnuts and pistachios— and the sorbets are made exclusively with fresh, seasonal fruit.
For other flavors, such as chocolate, vanilla, or coffee, for example, Roberta selects products from certified labels like Fairtrade.
When it comes to toppings, this ice cream shop doesn’t hold back either, serving generous, well-filled cones topped with whipped cream and a small cookie. In short, you’re simply going to love it!
