TripAdvisor recently ranked the best restaurants in the world. And to everyone’s surprise, this tiny Parisian restaurant took the prize in the “Casual Dining” category. A simple but delicious pizzeria offering authentic Italian dishes.
The best restaurant in the world is in Paris: and it’s a pizzeria!
Arrivederci is a tiny restaurant, located on rue Gay-Lussac in the 5ᵉ arrondissement. Well-known to locals, this discreet address probably won’t remain so for much longer. In fact, it has just been voted… best restaurant in the world. Yes, that’s right.
So, what makes this restaurant so special? Perhaps it’s its pizza dough, fermented for 72 hours to reveal its full aroma. Or maybe it’s its fresh produce, imported directly from Italy… Here, you’ll have the impression of rediscovering the true taste of pizzas : from the simple Margherita to the Quattro Formaggi. Traditional recipes that have conquered the palates of even the most demanding palates!

So much so, in fact, that the restaurant was acclaimed by travelers themselves on the TripAdvisor website. A fine accolade for this humble trattoria, which already won an award last year!
What’s for dinner?

It’s all good stuff, folks! Starting with the pizzas, the house specialty. Norma, Bufalina, Regina… you’re sure to find what you’re looking for! Baked in a wood-fired oven, their flavors are sublimated and will propel you directly to Italy without leaving Paris.
For dessert, we recommend the cannoli filled with Bronte pistachio cream: a real treat. The panna cotta with strawberry coulis is also a sure bet. In short, a lovely address to try out right away!
