Sifting through a myriad of data, reviews and opinions posted on the platform over a 12-month period, the experts at Tripadvisor have just unveiled the Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best list, listing the world’s best cities for eating out.
Topping the list is Rome, a city of timeless visual and gastronomic charm, where cobbled alleyways provide the backdrop for iconic specialties such as carbonara or cacio e pepe. In second place, London shines for its culinary eclecticism: between contemporary fine dining, trendy food markets and revisited classics, it appeals as much to gourmets as to explorers of new textures. Marrakech takes third place, with its lively souks, intoxicating spices and bewitching tajines, proof that cuisine can be a cultural immersion in its own right.
As you’ll have gathered, the French capital only came fourth in this ranking, which is disappointing but respectable nonetheless. And that’s no surprise: between neighborhood bistros, lively markets and Michelin-starred restaurants, the French capital continues to inspire with its culinary diversity!
