A few days ago, the French Bar Awards website revealed the 100 best bars in France, reviewed by nearly 600 industry professionals spread across 59 departments. The result ? The top three are in Paris. A source of pride for our beloved capital!
The best bars in France are in Paris
To compile this ranking, industry professionals drew on their firsthand experiences: neighborhood bars, hotel bars, luxury hotel bars, or hidden bars… all establishments were eligible! To be selected and have a shot at the top spot, these bars had to be named among the industry’s top picks.
The bar mentioned first received the highest number of points, the next one slightly fewer, and so on. The points were then totaled and weighted according to category.

The result? This year, three Parisian bars share the podium. In first place is Danico, in the 2nd arrondissement, followed by The Cambridge Public House in the 3rd. Finally, Bar Nouveau, also located in the 3rd arrondissement, rounds out the podium.
In total, more than thirty Parisian bars appear in this top 100. Of course, and as always, even though it’s nice to sip a little cocktail in this beautiful weather, alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health. Always drink in moderation!
