Monsieur le Lapin Blanc, a very personal book for the artist
In his latest illustrated work, Benjamin Lacombe once again pays tribute to Lewis Carroll. After retracing Alice’s adventures in two books published in 2015 and 2016, the artist once again tackles the work of the English novelist who has so inspired his work.
This time, we meet up with the mischievous White Rabbit. Alice’s accomplice, always late from morning to night, is the hero of the book. You’ll discover his story, told in a tender and humorous way throughout Wonderland. From his encounters with the famous Alice, the mischievous Cheshire Cat and the terrifying Queen of Hearts, you’ll follow his quest for happiness. A highly personal, non-conformist album that will appeal to children aged 7 to 77.
