An empty museum, but a lively party! Yes, it’s no longer a secret that the Centre Pompidou will soon be closing its doors for five years of renovation. But before that happens, Beaubourg has its sights set on grandeur, and is planning the biggest party ever held at the museum. On October 24 and 25, 2025, the building will be emptied of its artworks to become the raw backdrop for an extraordinary experience: Because Beaubourg. On the program: masterclasses, projections, performances, immersive installations (headlined by Justice and Thomas Bangalter) on eight floors, over 30 guest DJs and artists, and even a roller disco track by La Main Jaune to glide through the history of this iconic museum. Mark your calendars!
Because Beaubourg or a closing in style
As the museum has already announced on its social networks, Beaubourg hasn’t said its last word yet, and still has many beautiful days (and especially two beautiful nights) ahead of it. So get ready for two days of madness on October 24 and 25, 2025, day and night.
- Daytime (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.): free access (subject to availability) to enjoy an arty, festive itinerary.
- By night (until 5 a.m.): it’s club time with a dream line-up. Behind the decks and on stage, a cult and eclectic line-up: 2manydjs, Breakbot & Irfane, Catherine Ringer, Ed Banger Crew, Myd, Sébastien Tellier, Tatyana Jane, Shygirl and many other surprises… The full line-up can be found on the museum’s official website.
Why is this THE event of the autumn?
Because it’s the last historic dance in the building before five long years of construction work. Because it’s rare to see a museum transformed into a giant club. Andbecause Beaubourg knows better than anyone how to mix music and contemporary art. A word of advice? Book fast… This party is likely to become as mythical as Beaubourg’s façade!
