A Utopian Setting for a Festival: the Island of the Impressionists
Join us on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, onthe Île des Impressionnistes, a natural site in the heart of the Yvelines that owes its name to the Impressionist painters who once set up their easels there—artists like Renoir, Degas, and Monet. A bucolic setting on the banks of the Seine that stands in stark contrast to the rave and carnival atmosphere promised by the organizers. And this contrast works a treat!
In terms of numbers, this XXL edition is thinking big: 4 stages spread across the island, around 30 artists on the lineup, and extended hours to make the most of the site (12:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Saturday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday). Each stage is designed for a distinct genre: techno, house, trance, hardstyle, and bass music share the lineup, ensuring there’s something for every type of festivalgoer over the two days.
A lineup that blends headliners and the underground scene
As for the lineup, it’s hard to be picky! Headlining the festival are none other than Ascendant Vierge, Bob Sinclar, Petit Biscuit, and the legendary duo Skream & Benga, the undisputed icons of British dubstep. The lineup is rounded out by some thirty other acts from both the French and international scenes: Hannah Laing, Joachim Garraud b2b Damien RK, Miss K8 b2b Mad Dog, Billx, Ivy Lab, Phuture Noize b2b B-Front, and Noise Mafia, among many others.
A layout designed to feel like a real amusement park
True to Madame Loyal’s DNA, the festival isn’t limited to music: carnival rides and attractions, circus performances, LED projections, and immersive experiences come to life as night falls. Chill zones, a food court, and lounge areas round out the experience for a weekend that feels like a world apart.
