Sports play a central role in the French way of life. In recent years, new sports trends have emerged, such as Hyrox, a discipline that combines strength and fitness, blending running with functional training. Last April, Hyrox Paris brought the Grand Palais to life, with nearly 22,000 participants working up a sweat under the Nef—10,000 more than in 2025. But the true star of the year is undoubtedly running. In 2026, running has establisheditself more than ever as the winning trend, with 13.2 million participants according to a study conducted by the Union des Entreprises Sport & Cycle. Pushing one’s limits, stress relief, the pursuit of performance, discipline, and the pride that comes after the effort… There are many reasons behind the success of the running trend.
44,000 runners, 48% women in the field, and an ever-growing number of charity bibs… A historic record for Europe’s largest 10K race

So, how could we not mention this iconic Parisian race: the Adidas 10K Paris, the largest 10K in Europe? The 10K has also established itself as the French people’s favorite race format, striking the perfect balance between accessibility, challenge, and athletic rigor.
This Sunday, June 7, 2026, no fewer than 44,000 runners are expected at the starting line for an edition that is already shaping up to be exceptional. A historic record, coupled with near-parity among participants, with more than 48% of women in the field.
Another notable record for the event: nearly 2,400 charity bibs at the starting line, compared to 1,800 last year. This increase confirms that enthusiasm for the Adidas 10K Paris continues to grow.
Right now, you still have the chance to participate in the race thanks to the remaining charity bibs. This type of bib allows you to run the 10km of the Adidas 10K Paris, provided you raise at least 150 euros for a partner charity.
Helping the most vulnerable, environmental protection, inclusion, gender equality, health… You can choose from 42 organizations to turn every kilometer you run into a true act of solidarity—from Restos du Coeur to the French Red Cross, including WWF, Handicap International, Médecins du Monde, and Make-A-Wish France, to name just a few. What if running for a good cause made every effort even more rewarding? Here at Paris Secret, we say yes without hesitation.
Adidas 10K de Paris: a story of resilience where every kilometer run carries a message of hope

And this year, some participants wearing charity bibs are sharing inspiring stories of resilience. Esteban, 30, was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2018 and ran his first 10K in 2023 with a charity bib from La Ligue contre le cancer. This year, he’s doing it again and plans to push himself to the limit for a good cause. Thibaut, 39, is a dad and runner who has been running for many years to support the Petits Princes charity. The Adidas 10K de Paris marks the highlight of the year when he showcases all the funds he has managed to raise over the course of the year.
On the women’s side, we meet Amandine, 28, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 26. After her treatments, she began running a half-marathon with a charity bib to benefit the Gustave Roussy Foundation. Three days later, she learned she was in remission. On June 7, 2026, she will participate in the Adidas 10K Paris as a symbol of resilience.
Raquel, for her part, will wear a charity bib to benefit the Rare Diseases Foundation. This is a cause particularly close to her heart because her 2-year-old son, Lucas, has a rare genetic metabolic disorder: MCAD deficiency. Every kilometer she runs will thus carry a message of hope and support for all children with rare diseases and their families.
The Thule Stroller Run is back, for a family 10K

Other participants in the Adidas 10K Paris are also proving in their own way that anything is possible: parents! The Thule Stroller Start Zone is back this year, so families can experience the race together and show that it’s possible to balance family life (already quite active) with hardcore sports. Emilie, 30, will run on June 7 with her 2-year-old baby, while pregnant with her second child, proving that combining sports and motherhood is possible.
Cédric, 35, shares a beautiful story centered on sports with his son, with whom he has been participating in the stroller race for the past three years. On June 7, they will take part in their third edition. A beautiful father-son story, promising lasting memories.
A picture-perfect route, from the Trocadéro to the Arc de Triomphe

And while they say it’s not the destination that matters but the journey, here the finish line certainly matters. But it’s the course itself that promises to be remarkable, with a picture-perfect route that takes runners past Paris’s most beautiful landmarks, from the Trocadéro to the Arc de Triomphe. The banks of the Seine, the Grand Palais, the Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, the Opéra Garnier…a unique urban journey awaits the runners.
Once the finish line is crossed, the experience will continue in the heart of a sports village with a festival atmosphere. Participants and supporters will be able to gather there to celebrate their times in a festive and friendly atmosphere. After the effort comes the reward.
All you have to do is lace up your Adidas running sneakers and sprint to the finish line…
