On the site of the former Truffaut store, boulevard de la Bastille, the4ᵉ Action store in Paris opened this Thursday, August 28.And it’s not just any store: it’s the most central outlet in the capital. As always with the Dutch brand, bargain-hunters are likely to flock here to find low-priced items.
A new Action store in Paris Bastille, with over 6,000 products at bargain prices, starting at €0.49.
Until now, Paris had three Action stores: avenue de Flandre and boulevard Macdonald in the 19ᵉ district, as well as rue de Lourmel in the 15ᵉ district. Yesterday, the Dutch retailer inaugurated its fourth Parisian outlet, this time in the12ᵉ arrondissement – the capital’s most central to date. Having arrived in France in 2012, Action didn’t open its first Paris store until 2021, in the Le Parks shopping center. Since then, the discount giant has continued to win over consumers, particularly in these times of high inflation. With almost 850 stores in France, Action has become one of the French people’s favorite brands.
More than two-thirds of products under 2 euros
Decoration, fashion, DIY, stationery, cooking, sports, toys, food… the queen of bargains stands out not only for its low prices, but also for its colossal range: over 6,000 items on the shelves. And offers for less than a euro abound on the website and in the store’s shelves. 0.99 € each for a face mask, 99 centimes for a set of 6 glittery felt-tips for children (perfect for back-to-school), a coloring book for only 0.49 €… at Action, prices are ultra-attractive. What’s more, more than two-thirds of the items on sale are less than €2. The opening of this new store a stone’s throw from the 11th arrondissement confirms Action’s expansion into Paris, while its stores are already multiplying in the Île-de-France region.
