Good news: Patins en Folie is back for its third season, still featuring 600 m² of real ice and a dedicated area where little ones can learn to skate at their own pace. Just another ice rink? No, because this one stands out not only for its size—which makes it the largest outdoor ice rink in Paris—but also for the variety of its activities, ranging from gourmet food chalets to, new this year starting December 4, “Les Féeries de Noël,” an illuminated trail featuring 16 scenes. Lace up your skates—let’s go for some pure fun!
Patins en Folie has all of Paris gliding along
On the festive agenda: 600 m² of real ice, gourmet food chalets, a kid-friendly area, “Les Féeries de Noël,” and an enchanting setting adorned with garlands and lights to plunge you headfirst into the magic of the holiday season. In short, everything needed to offer Parisians a fun getaway to share with family or friends.

Set in the spacious, lush greenery of André Citroën Park, beneath the imposing Ballon de Paris (a hot-air balloon that serves as the site’s emblem and watches over the historic landmark), Patins en Folie invites all skaters to enjoy a winter escape.
As for the atmosphere, get ready for string lights, music, and the perfect backdrops to fill your Instagram feed. Starting December 4, Les Féeries de Noël extends the magic right next to the ice rink with a 16-scene illuminated trail—brought to life by actors and sound effects—that tells the story of Santa Claus.
After all that activity, it’s time to relax: the gourmet chalets await those with a sweet or savory tooth, who can warm up with hot chocolate or mulled wine and enjoy crêpes, churros, or raclette sandwiches. In short, in this huge playground, anything is possible!
On a practical note, don’t forget your gloves! They’re required to get on the ice and are available for purchase on-site. Skate rentals are included with your ticket, but you can also bring your own. For kids, skate attachments that clip directly onto their shoes will be available. Allow at least 45 minutes per session.
