Many venues promise a beautiful view, but few places in the world can rival the dizzying experience of a concert suspended from the Eiffel Tower’s framework, with the Parisian skyline at your feet.
On Friday, October 30, at 6:00 p.m., Vivaldi’s Four Seasons will resound in the Salon Gustave Eiffel, a transparent venue suspended 57 meters above the ground. Accessible directly via the elevator included with the ticket, the venue offers an unobstructed view of the Parisian rooftops: at this height, the city becomes an integral part of the musical score.
Held in the heart of the Iron Lady since the winter of 2022–2023, these Candlelight concerts are among the capital’s most unique musical experiences. To give you an idea of the staging, the monument’s operator (SETE) mentioned during a special Valentine’s Day event in 2024 that nearly 3,000 candles were lit to bathe the space in golden light.
Scheduled for dusk, the concert takes on a special resonance in late October. As the Seine takes on coppery hues and twilight settles over Paris, hearing the lively and warm movements of the “Autumn” concerto from the capital’s skyline transforms this Baroque masterpiece into a celebration of the season.
