Every year, mixology enthusiasts await the verdict from the World’s 50 Best Bars, a true benchmark in the field. Indeed, it’s at this time of year that the organization unveils its famous list of the world’s best bars. As is often the case, Paris shines on the cocktail scene, and 2026 will be no exception: four venues are once again represented in the top 50!
While Paris is undoubtedly one of the world’s culinary capitals, the city also continues to make a name for itself in the world of mixology. That’s right—this year, the City of Light has as many bars in the top 50 as cities like Hong Kong and New York, which are already well-established.
4 Parisian bars among the best in the world
In 13th place in the overall rankings—and thus named the best bar in Paris—is The Cambridge Public House, a Marais establishment that’s a regular on the list. The bar ranks just ahead of another spot just a stone’s throw away: Bar Nouveau. Finally, in 23rd and 25th places, De Vie and Danico, respectively, also represent the capital.
The highest-ranked is The Cambridge Public House on Rue de Poitou, which ranks 13th in the world. The venue blends the styles of an English pub and a cocktail bar without trying to hide one behind the other: you can order a Guinness, a sausage roll, or a particularly elaborate cocktail all in the same evening. Opened in 2019, the spot quickly established itself as a Parisian staple.

Just a few blocks away, Bar Nouveau comes in at No. 15. The decor draws direct inspiration from Art Nouveau, right down to the light fixtures and antique glassware. The bar spans two floors, each offering a distinctly different experience: something more casual on the ground floor, followed by a much more structured tasting journey in the basement.
The ranking also holds a real surprise for De Vie, which enters the list directly at No. 23 even though the bar only opened in March 2025. Its approach is based in particular on seasonal ingredients and a rather rare feature in this industry: some cocktails are served without ice.
Finally, Danico ranks 26th. Located on Galerie Vivienne, behind Daroco, the bar occupies the former Jean Paul Gaultier boutique and has been building its menus around the travels of its founder, Nico de Soto, for several years now.
