The Night of the Castles… A Weekend Like No Other in Paris (and the Surrounding Area)
For this 8th edition, more than 100 castles and monuments are opening their doors to you for a magical weekend. As night falls, these fabulous places offer unique, interactive, and original tours that let you discover them in a whole new way.
For example, the magnificent estate at Dampierre-en-Yvelines will illuminate its grounds with a thousand candles. You’ll be able to stroll freely through the French gardens designed by Le Nôtre, amid music, equestrian performances, and romantic illuminations. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover an exceptional estate that has hosted kings, queens, and prominent figures of the French court. You’ll find a super-friendly open-air café atmosphere on site, with several food trucks serving up meals.
The Château de Villiers, in the Val-d’Oise, offers a theatrical tour titled “Between Shadows and Light.” You’ll discover the castle’s fully illuminated facades, the park with its majestic trees, and its romantic temple…
