Who said construction stops after summer? Unfortunately—and much to your chagrin— renovation work will indeed be taking place on the RATP network. This time, Line 2 will be affected. In October, seven stations will be closed for no fewer than seven consecutive days… Here are the details you need to know.
Line 2 Closes 7 Stations for Construction
In October, Line 2 is going to give you a hard time… From October 19 to 25, seven stations will be closed. No trains will run for seven consecutive days between Barbès-Rochechouart and Père Lachaise. This will be a real headache for commuters, as it falls right in the middle of the All Saints’ Day school break.

Specifically, the stationsLa Chapelle, Stalingrad, Jaurès, Colonel Fabien, Belleville, Couronnes, and Ménilmontantwill not be served. Toward Nation, the Père-Lachaise station will temporarily become the terminus of Line 2. For commuters traveling daily toward Porte-Dauphine, the Barbès-Rochechouartstation will serve asthe temporary terminus during this period…
To mitigate this inconvenience, the RATP is, of course, providing replacement buses and urges passengers to plan their trips as far in advance as possible.
