There are places in Paris that we pass by without ever really knowing what lies behind their doors. Workshops where Louis Vuitton trunks are crafted, showrooms filled with historic jewelry, and archives normally reserved for a select few. From October 16 to 18, 2026, LVMH will exceptionally open some of these locations to the public during the Journées Particulières. And the best part? All tours are free.
For three days, the behind-the-scenes world of Parisian luxury will be accessible
The idea behind the Journées Particulières is simple: to show the public everything they never see behind the storefront windows and fashion shows of the great Parisian fashion houses.
This year, 45 of the group’s Houses are opening 71 venues in 13 countries, with a focus on Paris. During this 6th edition of “Journées Particulières,” there will be several new features, such as the opening to the public of the Céline ateliers, located in the Hôtel Colbert in Torcy.
At Place Vendôme, Chaumet will open the doors to its private mansion and its tiara collections. At Moynat, visitors will be able to watch the creation of a raw leather bag up close—right through to the final touches—alongside the artisans. Guerlain will grant access to its fragrance archives under the name “Réserve des Sublimes.”
During these three days, LVMH offers a unique experience, introducing visitors to the houses’ craftsmanship, their heritage, and the creation of high-quality products.
The Louis Vuitton workshop in Asnières: the tour everyone will want to book
In Asnières-sur-Seine lies the historic Maison Vuitton workshop. It has preserved the House’s craftsmanship since 1859. It is here that certain special orders and the famous trunks are crafted, right next to the Art Nouveau house built by the Vuitton family.
This venue is one of the most sought-after stops on the “Journées Particulières” tour, as much for its history as for the rare behind-the-scenes access it offers to the House. If this location has caught your eye, you’ll need to act fast when making reservations. This experience will likely be the first to sell out.
La Samaritaine as no one has ever seen it…
Imagine La Samaritaine in the early morning, before the first customers arrive and the usual hustle and bustle of the department store begins. For the “Journées Particulières,” the experience will go far beyond a simple tour of the premises.
Called “Parisian Dawn at La Samaritaine,” the experience will begin before the building opens to the general public with a gourmet reception, followed by a guided tour of the building’s various spaces. The main focus of the tour will be to look up and take in the details you might not necessarily notice during a typical day of shopping. The goal will be to focus on botanical motifs, decorative details, the grand glass roof, and the blend of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.
A tour designed to provide a deeper understanding of La Samaritaine’s architecture and offer a fresh perspective on this iconic Parisian landmark.

Getting hands-on will also be part of the program
Some Houses won’t just be content to open their doors.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian will open the doors to its new Paris headquarters, allowing registered visitors to discover the basics of perfume composition and creation.
At Berluti, head to the bespoke shoe workshop, where artisans will demonstrate the techniques that transform leather into a pair of entirely handcrafted shoes. From the last to the house’s famous patina, you’ll see it all.
A program that will let you leave with more than just a few photos.
To secure a spot, it all comes down to 2 p.m.
The tours are free, but many of them require advance reservations. And contrary to what one might think, not all spots are made available online on the same day.
Reservations will open in three waves at 2 p.m.: on September 24, notably for Celine, Guerlain, Le Bon Marché, and the LV Foundation; on September 28 for Chaumet, the Galerie Dior, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, and Moynat; and on September 30 for Louis Vuitton, Paris Match, La Samaritaine, and Le Cheval Blanc.
The best advice is to choose your tours in advance and log in a few minutes before 2 p.m. to ensure you get a spot.
