The Grand Palais will take on the air of a fantastical garden during Paris Design Week. From September 11 to 20, 2026, the Uchronia collective will take over the Rotonde d’Antin with *Le Grand Bouquet*, a monumental floral installation designed specifically for the venue. Luminous petals, generous forms, and bold colors will interact with the architecture of the recently restored monument.
The project was conceived by Julien Sebban, founder ofUchronia, a Parisian studio known for its vibrant designs and bold, exuberant forms. Rather than simply placing a sculpture in the center of the rotunda, the collective drew direct inspiration from its architecture: the floral pattern of the floor mosaic, the plant-inspired moldings, and the circular geometry of the room served as the starting point for the installation.

Seating will also be installed around the artwork, allowing visitors to pause at the base of this XXL structure rather than simply walking through it. The project will also extend outdoors. On Square Jean-Perrin, in front of the Grand Palais, Uchronia will install *Équilibres Éphémères*, a collection of colorful inflatable sculptures that will mark the entrance to this exhibition route.
A third section will be on display in the Design and Arts & Crafts Boutique. Ceramics, lighting fixtures, cushions, furniture, and accessories will offer a glimpse into the world of Uchronia. A collaboration with the French brand Tiptoe will be unveiled there.
“Le Grand Bouquet” will be one of the most remarkable installations at Paris Design Week 2026, which will take over hundreds of venues across the capital from September 10 to 19. For those who haven’t yet rediscovered the Grand Palais since its full reopening, here’s the perfect outing!
