What if the street you walk down every morning had served as the backdrop for a Netflix series or a major Hollywood production? That’s exactly what Movie Scene Map lets you discover—a free interactive map dedicated to filming locations. With just a few clicks, you can explore your neighborhood and street and find the movies and TV shows that were filmed there.
The map currently features nearly 16,000 real-world locations across 166 countries, ranging from simple streets to castles, studios, monuments, and natural landscapes. Just zoom in on an area and select a point to see the productions that were filmed there. Alternatively, a search by title lets you find the various locations used during the filming of a movie or TV series.
A particularly extensive map of filming locations in Paris

Unsurprisingly, Paris features prominently on Movie Scene Map. The capital is among the most frequently featured cities on the platform, with settings that make it easy to instantly recognize famous scenes.
Fans of *Mission: Impossible – Fallout* , for example, can find the Grand Palais, the Palais-Royal, the Canal Saint-Martin, the Pont-Neuf, and several streets used during the Paris shoot of the film starring Tom Cruise. *Emily in Paris* also features several well-known locations in the capital, notably around the Place du Panthéon and La Samaritaine.
All of France is well represented, with nearly a thousand locations listed. Castles, beaches, villages, train stations, and streets turn the map into a tool for planning a walk in the footsteps of a movie.
Movie Scene Map isn’t limited to movies. The database includes more than 10,000 films and TV shows, as well as video games, anime, and manga. For the latter, the map shows the locations where the story takes place rather than actual filming locations, since they obviously weren’t filmed on-site.
