For the first time, the west wing of the Grand Palais opens to the public after five years of renovation. Less well known than its big brother, the Palais d’Antin is a little-known masterpiece that is currently open to the public free of charge.
The secret west wing of the Grand Palais finally opens to the public

Inaugurated at the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the Palais d’Antin is a sublime and little-known part of Parisian heritage.
Characterized by its elliptical dome, composed of 632 glass panels, it houses the Musée de la Découverte, dedicated to science since 1937. You’ll be captivated by the beauty of this Beaux-Arts-style building, permanently bathed in light. A dazzling spectacle for your eyes, which will never cease to marvel at such beauty!
Five years of work to restore the Grand Palais to its former glory

With the ravages of time, the palace has fallen into serious disrepair. To the point of closing to the public in 2020 for renovation! We had to wait five long years for this magical place, little known to the general public, to regain its titles of nobility! It now boasts a brand new, ultra-immersive area dedicated to children and families: the Children’s Palace. A unique place where our little ones can learn while having fun! And right now, discover the astonishing “Transparence” immersive exhibition dedicated to 2-10 year-olds.
And the best part? It’s all free! In fact, the museum is free outside the paid exhibition areas! So you can take your time and admire it from every angle. Late-night opening hours are also scheduled on Fridays from June 20 until 10:30 p.m. A dazzling jewel to be discovered without delay!
📍Location: Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt 75008 Paris
