At Paris Secret, we love a good story. After a successful career in some of Paris’s top restaurants, chef Youssef Marzouk is opening his own restaurant: Aldehyde. A fine Franco-Tunisian gourmet restaurant which, this year, earned its first star. A richly deserved victory for this Michelin-starred restaurant offering affordable menus from… 35 euros. Yes, you read that right!
Aldehyde: the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris
Located in the heart of the Marais, near the quays of the Seine, Aldehyde opens its doors to you for a tasty journey. “Aldehyde is the name of the molecule found in coriander. It’s what gives this aromatic plant its distinctive taste! A name with character that sets the tone: get ready to have your taste buds excited! Here, chef Youssef Marzouk perfectly blends the traditional flavors of French dishes with the enchanting aromas of Tunisia.
Every week, he proposes a surprise menu, called the market menu, available in two formulas. A two-course lunch menu, comprising starter and main course or main course and dessert for 35 euros, or a “starter-main course-dessert” menu for 45 euros. At these prices, frankly, it would be foolish not to book a table at this Michelin-starred restaurant.
The chef’s fine, refined cuisine showcases the best of France and the Maghreb. A comforting fusion cuisine inspired by Youssef’s childhood memories and his travels. Believe us, your taste buds will thank you (and your wallet too). Reservations are strongly recommended!
