If you’re looking for a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, we’ve found the perfect getaway for you! Located to the east of Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes, the Breuil school garden is well worth a visit. Open all year round, this 10-hectare haven of peace, little-known to Parisians, will surprise you with the beauty of its landscapes. Shall we show you around?
A little-known yet magnificent garden at the gateway to Paris

Entirely free of charge, this garden was originally an open-air school, training the future landscapers and gardeners of tomorrow. Today, it has been awarded the “Jardin Remarquable” label for its educational vocation. Over 10 hectares, you’ll discover five absolutely magnificent themed hectares: an English garden, a rock garden with a charming stream, an orchard, a vegetable garden and a Mediterranean garden.

But our favorite spot is undoubtedly the estate’s rose garden! Situated opposite the site’s magnificent 1930s building, you’ll see a variety of roses blooming elegantly in the groves and around the pergolas. In summer, it’s the ideal time to observe them and smell their fragrance… Not far away, a magnificent carp pond offers a fascinating aquatic spectacle. A very relaxing place, where you can stroll, rest and dream…

The garden of the Ecole du Breuil is a pure marvel, where different species of trees, flowers and plants come together and flourish all year round. A delightful sight to behold in any season.
