At the heart of the debate, real estate in Paris makes the capital by far the most expensive city in France… A veritable microcosm, the City of Light is home to a wide range of rents, depending on the district and arrondissement. But to guide you through the urban jungle of Paris, Flatlooker has unveiled a useful map, this time showing average rents by metro station!
Around which stations are rents the most expensive?
Although useful for finding your way around, the famous Paris metro map can also be used for some rather interesting purposes… From spotting street art hidden in the metro corridors, to listing the city’s cultural sites, or even guiding us around France’s vineyards: any hijacking is good enough to help us find our way.
But today, we’ve got a useful new map to consult. For Parisians wishing to relocate, or others looking for an apartment in Paris, Flatlooker has unveiled the results of a study on Parisian rents. Based on 175,000 advertisements posted on real estate portals in 2022, the online rental and management agency has drawn up a very special metro map for a 35 m2 T2 apartment… A copy of the original metro map, this version displays the average rent for a 35 m2 apartment below each station. So, where’s the most expensive place to live? You be the judge!
