Do you like manga? There’s a veritable temple of manga lurking in Paris! Maybe you’ve even walked past it without knowing it… Welcome to Manga Café V2 in the 13ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. In this huge 300 m² library, you can read over 18,000 references, enjoy a coffee and even play on retro arcade terminals… If this isn’t paradise!
France’s biggest manga library is in Paris
You may not have known it, but for the past 13 years , this manga café-library has been an Ali Baba’s cave for all lovers of Japanese culture. There are several distinct areas, including a small Japanese grocery store with products direct from the land of the Rising Sun (decorations, food, games, etc.), a relaxation area where you can enjoy a self-service drink, and a corner where you can play retro arcade games… But above all, a huge manga collection!

In fact, over 18,000 references are classified here… and you can consult them whenever you like, depending on the package you choose. In fact, you can access the library directly at the reception desk by registering (just like in a conventional library). Once you’ve registered, you’ll have unlimited access to your favorite manga and to the other Manga Café services. You’ll pay 4 euros for one hour’s reading at peak times, 3 euros at off-peak times and 20 euros for a full-day pass with unlimited access.

A truly gigantic space, where you won’t see time passing. What’s more, if you want to add to your manga collection, there’s a bookshop with some 6,000 items on offer. Enough to expand your manga library!
