As every parent knows, mornings are all about sport! So rather than sweating it out in the Paris metro to get to nursery or school on time, 66% of parents would be willing to make a radical change in their means of transport… in favor of a bicycle! It’s an eco-friendly and practical way to get around town with your little one, and avoids delays, unnecessary stress and traffic jams. But not everyone has a bike! That’s when Lime came up with a brilliant idea: to expand its fleet by offering bikes adapted to carry your little one. All you need is a helmet, and you’re ready to go. For now, the bike-share company has just announced the deployment of 500 electric bikes equipped with child seats. We explain!

According to a study by Opinon Way, 49% of parents surveyed experience daily delays due to their mode of transport (car jammed, metro delayed…) and yet 48% of them continue to use their cars. The child seats are securely attached to the rear of the main seat, in compliance with European standards, to guarantee your little ones’ safety.

Reserving one couldn’t be easier: just go straight to the Lime app! The geolocation system will instantly identify your family’s electric bike via a unique logo. A few clicks later, your bike is reserved! Please note that you ‘ll need a helmet for both you and your child. These are not included in your reservation!
