What if next Friday the 13th was your lucky day? If you like dancing in clubs and visiting exhibitions at night, the Éclatantes at the Cité des Sciences are a good compromise! For this 10th edition – as time flies – the organizers have pulled out all the stops, inviting some exceptional artists: Nathalie Duchene, Kiddy Smile and Bagarre will rock the stage for an evening that’s already shaping up to be memorable. Hurry, there’s even a reduced price until November 24. We tell you all about it!
Les Éclatantes 10: Nathalie Duchene, Kiddy Smile and Bagarre are in the club
Since her arrival from Liège, Nathalie Duchene has conquered our capital. After a spell at the Cours Florent, this actress also proved her worth as a DJ for Louis Vuitton and in clubs such as Le Rex. If we tell you that this Belgian artist is the protégée of Yuksek and Cassius’ Boombass, you can go for it with your eyes closed.
Kiddy Smile is also a favorite judge of Drag Race France, and starred in Gaspar Noé’s Climax, before taking to the stage at the Cité des Sciences. The DJ, producer and queer ambassador embodies the revival of French house music. A word of advice: you can start practicing your voguing choreography right now.
Finally, the group Bagarre, who see clubbing as an outlet but also as a political terrain, will make you sweat. The collective has just released a new album, CLUB, and invites you to dance for a better world. And inviting a thought-provoking group to the Cité des Sciences is obviously well thought-out.
Take advantage of the Cité des Sciences exhibitions for an evening visit
For this exceptional evening, from 8pm to 1.30am, you can also visit the Cité des Sciences’ permanent and temporary exhibitions by night. On the program: an exhibition on space exploration, a visit under the stars to the Planetarium, and a creative dance experience for the whole family and children. There are also installations on the climate emergency and the mysteries of the Grotte Chauvet. Finally, you can also discover the world of video games and the work of multi-disciplinary artist Charlotte Charbonnel.
The cost of the evening is 21 euros, but take advantage of a limited offer: if you buy your ticket before November 24, it will only cost you 18 euros!
