In the 3rd arrondissement, where you’ll find the most unusual statue in Paris, a cul-de-sac between street art and the Middle Ages, and a magnificent vintage market hall, there are plenty of delicious restaurants to discover! We’ve put together a list of our favorites.
Chez Alain Miam Miam
There’s no need to introduce Alain Miam Miam, where you can enjoy (very) tasty and generous sandwiches made with fresh, sourced ingredients. After the Marché des Enfants Rouges, Alain is also on rue Charlot, in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement. Ideal for a well-deserved breakfast break.
Alain Miam Miam – 26, rue Charlot, 75003
Les Pâtes Vivantes
@lespatesvivantesThis establishment offers a unique culinary experience with fresh homemade pasta cooked to perfection. However, their menu also includes a selection of homemade dim sum, such as baozi (filled buns) and jiaozi (Chinese dumplings). So you can enjoy dim sum prepared with the same attention to fresh pasta, for an explosion of flavors on the palate.
46, rue du Faubourg Montmartre, 75009 and 3, rue de Turbigo, 75003
Mabrouk
Salads, mechouia, Tunisian hummus and bricks: Mabrouk’s tempting dishes are legion. But it’s hard to leave Mabrouk without tasting the must-try dishes. Whether royal or 7-spice, you’ll love the couscous, sea bream carpaccio or kamounia. But our real favorite is pkaila, a wonderful recipe based on melting beef, spinach, beans and almonds.
Mabrouk – 64, rue Réaumur, 75003
Panda’s Baobao
@pandasbaobao
This small establishment offers a selection of traditional baos with tasty fillings and homemade sauces. The pork bao is a popular choice, with its juicy meat and fluffy exterior. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options, such as the grilled vegetable bao. A must-try!
Panda’s Baobao – 16, rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth, 75003
Soon Grill
@soongrill
Right in the center of the Marais, a stone’s throw from Place des Vosges, Soon Grill is a blend of everything Parisians love: typical, traditional dishes, fresh ingredients (the meat comes from the butcher) in a cosy, arty decor. A delight for the taste buds as well as the eyes, especially if you like Korean Barbecue!
78, rue des Tournelles, 75003
Bouillon République
The latest addition to the bouillon family, Bouillon République opened in September 2021 on Boulevard du Temple. Since then, this veritable anthill has been serving 400 diners lunch and dinner in its huge, high-ceilinged rooms. The little brother of Bouillon Pigalle, it offers everything that made the first address such a success: delicious traditional recipes at low prices.
Bouillon République – 39, boulevard du Temple – 75003
Candelaria
mexican restaurants paris
If you like speakeasies, you’ve probably heard of Candelaria. But have you ever tasted the restaurant’s cuisine? Delicious tacos and generously loaded burritos. Our favorite? The marinated chicken burrito: pure bliss! And if you’re thirsty, we recommend you try the cocktail menu. You won’t regret it!
Candelaria – 52 rue de Saintonge 75003
Caractère de Cochon
A stone’s throw from the Marché des Enfants Rouges, where a host of delicious finds are already hidden, is Caractère de Cochon, a shop specializing in charcuterie. With their expertise in the field and their choice of sourced products, the father and son who run the store can boast one of the best sandwiches in the capital!
Caractère de Cochon – 42, rue Charlot, 75003
Le petit Dakar
@le.petit.dakar
Located in the heart of Paris, this little gem offers affordable and delicious yassas(chicken or fish marinated in lemon, onion and garlic), maffés and thiéboudiennes (rice with fish, parsley and chili)!
Le Petit Dakar – 6 Rue Elzevir, 75003
