As winter arrives and the enchantment of the festive season takes hold, Christmas markets open their doors one after the other across Europe. Paris is no exception with its many spots, but one market stands out from the rest. The famous Tuileries Christmas market, scheduled to open on November 15, is among the top 3 of its kind for 2025, according to a ranking by Time Out.
Paris Christmas market voted one of Europe’s best in 2025
One of the most eagerly awaited events of the year 2025, the Tuileries Christmas Market is about to open its doors to a host of visitors who will be celebrating the festive season with their families. A favorite with Parisians, it has also climbed to third place in Time Out’s ranking of Europe’s best Christmas markets. Ahead of it is the Manchester market, with the unmissable Nuremberg market coming out on top.

Scheduled to run from November 14, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the Tuileries fairground Christmas market will open its doors every day from 11 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. In an exceptional setting between the Louvre and the Concorde, this year it will host some 80 chalets dedicated to gourmet delicacies and crafts. Raclette, pretzels, fondue, waffles or mulled wine: all the most comforting dishes from Alsace to Brittany will be available to devour on site. It’s also an opportunity to get your hands on a myriad of little gifts to put under the tree.

Last but not least, there will be plenty of entertainment on site, starting with a free show every weekend. And don’t miss Santa Claus, who will be making a few appearances throughout the event. Of course, the traditional ice rink (in synthetic version) will also be part of the event. 250 square meters of sliding fun!
